Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Hyper Converged Solution Engineering Organization is seeking a Software Design Intern to work in the Fort Collins, CO office. You'll be part of an international team that designs, develops, tests and validates industry leading products.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about applying cutting edge technologies to fulfill the vision of creating a world class Hyper Converged products. You will be part of a talented team working on full software development life cycle including requirement analysis, design, development, maintenance, testing, quality and performance assurance of Hyper Converged products utilizing leading edge technologies.
Part of a talented team to development and test end to end features in Hyper Converged Solution.
Technical investigation, code development, unit test and integration test.
Flexibility to work full time throughout summer, and possibly part time ( 10-30 hours per week ) throughout the year
Education and Experience
Currently enrolled in second, third or final year of a Bachelor or master degree in engineering or equivalent (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical, or Computer Engineering), and enrolled on a full-time basis through December 2018 or later.
Must have experience developing applications in Java and familiar with Junit
Individual should expect to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
Strong desire to build, sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of/ or experience developing application with Apache Parquet and Apache Drill
