We’re looking for a proven test engineer to lead our Graphics Server Systems and Solutions Validation test team. As the team lead you will be responsible for functional and solution level test and validation of new graphics blade server products, architecting and developing test suites, test execution, assigning and overseeing the work of a small test team, and managing partner and customer escalations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs quality assurance and test processes for portions and subsystems of graphics blade server applications, systems software, and firmware running on HPE BladeSystem and Synergy servers.

  • Analyzes graphics solution stack and determines test scripts, coding, automation, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of overall architecture of product or solution.

  • Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for assigned portion of solution; creates and debugs solutions for issues with code and integration into software and firmware architecture.

  • Leads a small team of lab technicians, and works with internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable and cost- effective testing and quality assurance solutions

  • Collaborates and communicates with management and development partners regarding test status, project progress, and issue resolution.

  • Represents the graphics solution test team for all phases of larger and more-complex development projects.

  • Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions.

  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 4-6 years' experience.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience working with HPE BladeSystem or Synergy servers

  • Working knowledge of VMware, Citrix, RedHat Linux, Windows Server, NVIDIA GPUs

  • Software testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools. Such as Linux and Windows scripting.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively communicate product architectures and design proposals.
