Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the overall marketing and branding for a full service fire protection contractor. The successful candidate will work with the Chief Information Director to design, create, and update the company social media, website, newsletters, and more.

Job Responsibilities

  • Update the company website with fresh content

  • Oversee the production of a quarterly internal newsletter and bi-annual customer newsletter

  • Creation and enforcement of Brand management

  • Work with our parent company and third party SEO contractors

  • Complete special projects as required

  • Align and manage company social media feeds

  • Monitor social media sites and respond to questions on our social media sites from prospective and current customers

  • Create “ready to print” resources to be used by the Branches

  • Create and maintain informational PowerPoints

  • Coordinate with Branches and assist with local marketing efforts

  • Coordinate efforts with WSFP Human Resources

  • Management of outside resources and vendors

  • Accomplish responsibilities as required using business software as approved by WSFP

  • Work with Corporate Accounting, HR and IT/IS to help manage Company Intranet

Job Qualifications

  • Two plus years of digital and/or social media marketing experience

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in a related area preferred

  • Previous experience within the construction industry preferred

  • Working knowledge of the various social media platforms and tracking metrics

  • Basic Photoshop Skills or equivalent (cropping images, adding text to images, etc.)

  • Graphic design experience a plus

  • Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of business software application

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Courteous, friendly and helpful attitude at all times

  • Ability to work in a team but also work independently

  • Willing to pass a post-offer drug screen test, background and reference check
