Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive a 3/4 - 1 Ton pickup or pickup-trailer combination with capacities under 26,000 lbs.

  • Pickup, drop-off, and relocation of mobile job site trailers

  • Loads and unloads equipment/materials as necessary

  • Ensure payloads are secured appropriately for transport

  • Inspects and maintains vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.

  • Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers

  • Other duties may be assigned

Secondary Job Duties and Responsibilities:

When driving is not needed, the position will include the following duties:

  • Executes minor maintenance and repair of construction tools to ensure proper operation

  • Executes minor maintenance and repair to office/warehouse facilities

  • Execute equipment/laydown yard cleaning and upkeep

  • Executes snow removal at office/warehouse facility

  • Assists with shipping and receiving duties at the office/warehouse facility

Education and/or Experience:

  • Valid Colorado driver’s license required

  • Good driving record with minimal or no moving traffic violations

  • Capable of passing a DOT physical for operating vehicles under 26,000 lbs.

  • Ability to operate a variety forklifts and tractors in various weather and traffic conditions

  • High school degree preferred

Must Be Proficient in:

  • Reading maps, following written and verbal geographic directions. Able to use GPS for directions as well.

  • Obeying traffic laws, and following established traffic and transportation procedures

  • Organizational and time management skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong communication (verbal, written, and listening) skills
