Role Summary:

This role focuses on the generation of opportunity pipeline and ultimately closing of sales opportunities for Bently Nevada’s Condition Monitoring suite of solutions. Customer focus to include end users, OEMs and EPCs within a defined geography including western states of USA to be determined.

Essential Responsibilities:

In the role of Sales Manager, you will:

  • Manage existing clients toward continued growth and performance verses operating plan

  • Develop and execute specific account plans for each strategic client

  • Provide accountability to deliver on commitments and communicate progress, needs, and strategies to win in a competitive landscape

  • Perform regular performance management reviews of client business plans including progress in account penetration, opportunity pipeline development, orders growth and identification of target areas for improvement

  • Learn product offerings within BHGE / Bently Nevada product portfolio

  • Drive orders and convertibility of orders (sales) to achieve targets and year-over-year growth

  • Identify and cultivate strategic relationships with clients across multi-layered organizations

  • Support trade shows, vendor days, and client learning sessions by presenting condition monitoring solutions, business cases and other client marketing presentation material

  • Negotiate contracts including commercial terms, pricing and fulfillment of all compliance requirements Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum 5 years of Sales and/or Application Engineering experience in Power Generation or Oil & Gas IndustryEligibility Requirements:

  • Travel 50% of the time, as required Desired Characteristics:

  • Good understanding of condition monitoring solutions and geographic region’s client marketplace

  • Excellent demonstrated understanding of modern maintenance methodologies (PM, PdM, RCM, RBM, RAM, TPM, etc.) for plant electrical and mechanical equipment

  • Good understanding of Large Project / Global Project Sales Methodology

  • Proactive work style, creativity, high energy

  • Excellent sales skills, with the ability to teach, train, and motivate others

  • Demonstrated ability to engage in high-level sales and business discussions

  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to execute and drive results

  • Self-motivated with a focus on customer satisfaction

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions that result in higher profitability

  • Preferably Six-Sigma Green Belt Certified
