Role Summary:

The Inspection Technologies Remote Service Team is a global team and is the single point of entry for all post-sales technical issues for NDT products installed around the world. These products range from Radiography, Ultrasonic Testing Machine, Remote Visual Inspection, Eddy Current, Ultrasonic Standard Flow, Film and Rhythm Archive Software

Essential Responsibilities:

The Remote Service Expert (RSE) is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. Daily priorities will be set by the GEIT Global Remote Service Leader. In this role, you will follow defined tools, processes / guidelines and escalation paths, meet day-to-day short-term objectives, and have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

In the role of Remote Service Expert, you will:

  • Act as the single point of contact to the customer for timely and satisfactory resolution of a wide variety of technical issues/queries for the assigned product line(s)

  • Have fundamental knowledge of assigned product lines, their associated configuration installations, and/or follow established escalation paths to support appropriately

  • Effectively handle technical queries from assigned customers and be knowledgeable of and sensitive to business, social and cultural issues significant to the customers

  • Support other Remote Service team members and other teams as required

  • Monitor metrics to understand severity of incoming and/or pending issues and align priorities accordingly Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in an engineering, application, manufacturing or service role)Eligibility Requirements:

  • Work remotely in a global team

  • Work in flexible schedule Desired Characteristics:

  • Extensive experience in X-Ray testing machines and Radiography technology

  • Advanced technical expertise in (at least) some of the following product lines: X|Cube Series, X|Blade, blade|line, ERESCO, ISOVOLT, speed|scan Series, Phoenix. Also require expertise on VISTPLUS and SABA

  • Experience in analyzing technical issues

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Experience in and willing to coach and mentor others

  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customers

  • Fluent in other languages

  • Structured work methods and analytical skills
