POSITION LOCATION

Cheyenne, WY

ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cleans the shop, warehouse, and assists others with clean up. This includes sweeping the floors, keeping the cement pad under the silos cleared, cleaning up spills, pre-trip inspection for the forklift daily (check engine oil, leaks in fuel system, radiator, tires, carriage, oil and water, steering, brakes, truck operation, engine, oil gauge) and general maintenance.

  • Ensures units are clean and functioning.

  • Maintains parts and replace or check parts as required.

  • Maintains running inventory of cement and acid/additives andfrac/additives by ensuring plant has sufficient inventory and is in good working order so that all blending of materials can be done in an orderly and efficient manner.

  • Participate in blending cement and acid prior to shipment and loading it into silo and into trucks or setting it up for third party transportation.

  • Reads gauges to monitor pressure, density, rate and/or concentration and adjusting pumping procedure as required.

  • Orders inventory via BDX.

  • When order comes in via truck, unload pallets using a forklift.

  • Transfer chemicals from supplier’s tote to a working tote via forklift at set out transfer stations.

  • They are exposed to toxic, reactive, wet and dry chemicals.

  • Show the utilization of all proper PPE whenever required

  • Keep up with safety tickets and required online training.

  • Learn to be a proficient user of the BDX computer system, using it to order product, receive product, keep an accurate count of inventory and ship product in the system to field warehouses and other bases.

  • Work positively with smaller groups (2-3 people) witha good workattitude.

  • Learn and utilize all CRM tools taught in new hire training.

  • Be available onan on-call bases 24 hoursa day while on shift.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Forklift Operator certification

  • Previous Warehouse experience is an asset

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drugand backgroundtest

  • HS Diploma/GED

WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ABILITIES

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is moderate to loud.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear and smell; lift more than 100 pounds. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
