Description and Functions

This position performs a variety of tasks to uphold the regulatory work of the Wyoming Real Estate Commission, as prescribed by law. Primarily, this position oversees the licensing of individuals and companies conducting real estate activity in Wyoming. This position manages the continuing education programs related to licensing, and establishes/follows best practices for all essential duties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed in the job level.
Support operation of the real estate commission and certified appraiser board.
Review and recommend approval, disapproval or renewal of applicants and licensees.
Review and recommend approval, disapproval of continuing education courses.
Manage real estate education fund grants.
Assist with development, implementation and maintenance of licensing software.
Coordinate commission/board meetings.
Compile statistical information and provide technical assistance to the public regarding licensing procedures, rules, regulations and statutes.
Monitor program effectiveness.
Assist to draft legislation and rules relevant to Commission/Board operations.
Assist to develop/monitor related budgets and fees.
Experience in regulation or in a regulatory field. Experience in an office environment and in general client and project management. Experience in customer service and grant management. All are preferred, but not required.
Client file management.

General accounting principles, standards and practices.
General database navigation skills.
Bachelor's Degree (typically in Business)
0-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business)
Education & Experience Substitution:
3-5 years of progressive work experience (typically in Business)

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This position involves occasional travel.
FLSA: Non Exempt
All new hires or rehires starting in a non-exempt position on or after January 1, 2018 are required to be paid hourly.
